Subject: Shaman Response
There was a post made earlier by a player dissatisfied with the current state of the Shaman pertaining to talent options. The player deleted the post before I had a chance to reply. In any case, below is what I was writing for him, and other Shamans who feel similar.

I realize that words are poor consolation to immediate promise of specific game design change. However, we will be conducting a comprehensive review of Shaman talents shortly after we're done with the Mage. Many of the Shaman talents aren't as useful as we'd like them to be, and we plan to make a number of improvements for all three trees. It's likely that I'll be the one to communicate such change with the Shaman community. I've already relayed a great deal of feedback from the Shaman boards, and included my own - as I've logged numerous hours into my Shaman, and have experimented with a variety of builds.

Q u o t e:
Just to summarize my original post and refocus a bit, my point is basically that Shaman class sets do not support the Shaman Enhancement tree's capabilities. I'm not talking about talents, the review patch, whether we own or stink in pvp. Just gear.

Thanks.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I had started reading your post, was interrupted and when I refreshed it, the post was no longer there. I didn't get very far. I just finished reading your repost, however. I will say this - the gear you're referring to is obtained through the efforts of PvE, therefore the statistical gain and bonuses compliment what we feel most players who obtained the pieces would want. It's difficult to please everyone, unfortunately.

We are continuing to make improvements to itemization in regards to each classes "build variety". I don't know how much you've read up on the socketed item system we're implementing for expansion, but such will improve the way players are able to customize their character's gear to suit very specific needs.
