Just something I wanted to throw out there. I'm sure that the idea to restart a server happens more than 15 minutes before the actual restart happens. Well, 15 minutes is not much time and really screws people over who are in an instance at that point. So, can you please start giving us restart notification more than 15 minutes in advanced so hours of people's time isn't wasted?

When we have scheduled maintenance, we give a great deal more notice. The 15-minute notice is for unscheduled, emergency maintenance on the realm. Waiting an hour could cause further complications. Remember that those restarts are done only for performance or other critical issues; time is normally of the essence. The fifteen minutes we do give is a compromise between courtesy and expediency.
