Subject: Tseric: Arcane Tree is Utility Tree?

Arcane:Utility

I fail to see how arcane is the utility tree. There are two reasons I know people go into arcane:

PvE: Mana regen, evocation, reduced threat
PvP: AP and POM (Burst Damage)

The primary debate between most people from a pvp standpoint is whether you want to be more effective every three minutes through AP burst, or more effective over the entire three minutes (firepower/blastwave). Arcane is seen as the burst damage tree!

When I think utility I think of blink and sheep. But there are no talents for improved blink or improved sheep.

Practically everyone has their own definition of utility, Qtip. It's almost as varied as survivability, semantically speaking :P

What I mean is that PoM, Poly, AP, Evoc have no damage/healing effects, yet contribute to them. In there own indirect way they can boost DPS or Crit% or what have you, but can serve in other situations.

P.S. Don't split hairs with talents ;)
