What is the point of having a profanity filter in the game?
You can be reported for using profanity of any sorts in any aspect of the game, so why put it in at all??

Profanity is against the policy. The profanity filter is there for those who, say, might be playing with a minor present, or have other reasons for not wanting to be exposed to that language. It can slip out, and some people simply don't want to be exposed to it at all. The profanity filter is that option.
It is not, however, an excuse to use profanity.
