Subject: Clarification of Forum policy?
Several posts today got me thinking of the policies that Blizzard has for this forum.

Let me preface this by saying that I very well could be wrong, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

It's my understanding that a game ban will result in a forum ban, but a forum ban does not result in a game ban.

My question is: Why?

The game to forum ban is fairly well established, especially with the numerous "I'm posting on a friends account to rant about the injustice I received with an in-game ban" threads that we've all seen. But the reverse, which would do wonders to make these forums more civilized, does not seem to be present.

If someone knew that their playing privileges would be suspended for their actions here, would they not be more likely to not post obvious troll attempts simply because they are "bored"?

And just to clarify, I'm talking about having the same rules that apply in game apply here. If you get caught using profanity, racial slurs, etc, etc in game, you will get a suspension, and I believe that it translates over to these forums. The same should be said for the reverse, as well.

Flame away, but this is how I feel. It just makes sense to me.

BTW. UR is a word.

Incorrect. A game suspension is a game suspension and a forum suspension is a forum suspension. They are seperate and distinct.
Bob is my co-pilot.
