If a guild leader wants to delete his character, does the guild dissolve afterward? Can he assign someone else as guild leader beforehand so this doesn't happen, or is someone else automatically made guild leader once he deletes? [ post edited by Siren ]

If a guild leader deletes their character, the guild will be leaderless and you will lose options for guild management. Have the guild leader transfer leadership to someone else before they delete the character.
However, it should be kept in mind that once a person is guild leader, they are under no obligation to transfer that leadership, so give the title to someone you can trust. Otherwise, drama may ensue...
