As I understand it, priests are next up for class balancing with patch 1.10. However, with Fangtooth moving on to other ventures, it appears that we no longer have a class correspondent.
As it stands, the last blue post regarding priest balance issues (that I found at a quick glace) was Fangtooth's Priest Report, made last April - almost 8 months ago.
Now, I *know* that someone on the Blizzard end of things is at least glancing at the priest forums from time to time. Would it be possible for the priests to officially receive a new class correspondent before patch 1.10? We need someone who at least acknowledges that our suggestions are being seen before a patch that, as has been stated many times on the priest boards, could make our break our class.
Thanks!

Eyonix has a level 60 Priest.
Eyonix, however, is currently on vacation. He's definitely the best candidate to chat with you on certain issues.
In any case, the Priest review hasn't really geared up. 1.9 just came out, and the developers are making sure everything's fixed. Patience, folks. We haven't forgotten about you.

Kigor, Eyonix is probably the one that's going to be speaking with you on all Priest issues. He's not an idiot. However, because he doesn't PvP often, it's all the more important that you be constructive and explicit in your Priest PvP feedback.
As for patch development, folks, 1.10 has been in development for a bit, yes, but a patch is a sum of parts. Class reviews do not take that long to do. I'm sure they've had some basic ideas for months, but they haven't really geared up into full-on review mode yet.

Q u o t e: Can someone talk with the shamans, please, Cay? Or can you give me an estimate of when we will have someone open dialogue with us? With all the lies and myths about our class, many of us are very worried about 1.11.
We play every class, Zifna. We don't take "zomg shamans r overpowred!!!1111one" as valid feedback, so please don't assume that we're going to be blinded by the "myths". We haven't on any other class (no, we honestly haven't).
That said, 1.11 is a ways off and at this point I'm not positive which class is getting attention therein. So please, relax.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Q u o t e: I don't mean to say that Eyonix is an idiot, or even can't understand the issues. Only that in the past few months as I've PvPd quite a bit and raided quite a bit I began to realize how complex the issues are. While I may have sort of understood the issues involved before, as I have done MC now for weeks my views on these kinds of subjects have just become more refined and well understood. If there is no one else on staff that PvPs with a priest then it is a moot point, but if there is it would be cool if they could just chip in to the discussion.
There are people who do PvP as a Priest, but these people are not on the Community Team and as such will not be actively contributing to the conversation on the boards.

Q u o t e: Bottomline is if you don't PVP with your priest, you will have no clue how to fix the class or how PVE changes will affect PVP outcomes.
Having Eyonix as our class representive who basically only PVE is scary.
The designers know Priest PvP quite well, as well as PvE.
If you are concerned with being represented, it is all the more important that you phrase your PvP feedback in a manner that is constructive, accessible, and understandable. We're not hiring a PvP Priest onto the Community Team solely for this update, so please, just do your best to give your feedback civilly and without hyperbole.
