Folks, I know you're concerned about your particular realm's performance. As such, here's a quick run-down:
We are aware of the issues with the queues. We know about the issues with retrieving the character list. We may bring down realms briefly over the course of the evening to improve performance, so if your realm disappears for a few minutes, hang tight; it'll be back momentarily.
We know this isn't a fantastic situation. We're working on all the issues I listed and more, but there is no immediate fix for it. As soon as we have more information regarding the situation and what's being done to resolve it, we'll inform you.
In the meantime, we ask that you refrain from posting about your individual realm issues. I assure you, our 24-hour server tech staff is monitoring the situation at all times, and they are aware of the situation you describe. There is no need to begin another post about it. I know it's difficult, but please, be patient and bear with us.
