Subject: Define causal
   I think I am a causal player.

I play ~3 times a week for 3-5 hours.

So I assume I am pretty causal actually.

But what do I do during those 3-5 hours you "might" think.

The answer is, I do Onyxia (15 minutes), Molten Core (3-4.5 hours) and BWL (5 hours). The rest is chatting.

I get epics too.

So I am a causal player who gets the best epics in the game.

This leads to the conclusion that the formula "causal != epics" is wrong in its roots.

All it depends on is to be part of a big guild (60-100 people in total).

There is no skill nor challenge, just the number of people matter.

Look at my risk for reward:

I get around 1-2 item per week, epic items that is (Some i take for fun, no one wants them). Thats 7 hours for 1 epic item.

Can you say the same for yourself?

Causality is usually a 1-to-1 scenario.

As much as I like Newton, I tend to think that 'every action has multiple reactions'. That's just me. There is no way to think that one path defines an expansive (or physically spherical) existence.

Check the sig, eh?

You change your sig in one day more times than someone with OCD hand washes their undies.

Your truth may be true for you, but is not truth for me because this is my experience

Ummm...welcome to reality. Assert as much as you can. I am here;you are here. Such is life.

Another way of putting it is:
"Your history, though not necessarily wrong, doesn't apply to me because my history says this, and applies to me more closely".[/quote]
Closely? History touches on us all; regardless of our will. To say that history doesn't apply to [someone/anyone] is a fine gamble, innit?!?!

Facts:
1. OP is a memeber of a guild that runs Rag on farm status, and he/she is luckily farming along side when they are looking for a change from PvP or BWL.

What is it they want? PvP or BWL? or Winterspring faction? what is is we are supposed to provide? life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, eh?

2. A brand new group with all the goodies (CT Raid, Vent, Decursive) will NOT run MC on the their first time and finish it. It takes a month + to get Rag on Farm status -- and that's an UBER guild (like our).
A brand new group should chow through content and be bored after...what...2 weeks? What are you looking for here?

Assumptions:
1. Tseric was or is doing drugs due to his forums activity this morning.

And that means...what?

2. The majority of players (despite Tseric's view) are casuals that have NO INTEREST in raiding, or have tried it and don't like it.

The maority of so-called "casual" players are playing the game and not concerned with socio-political agendas that are propositoned on the forums.

3. Tseric is a "hardcore" raider from the EQ days and hates casuals.

ASCII art would cause trouble, but I need to say...
