I have been reading the Shifting Sands stuff and dont know if any other post are out there that are the same as this but...
The Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm is not like by the majority of WoW alliance players because he is...well an ass. It is made apparent in the story of the shifting sands why he is an ass and one has to think whats next with this interesting character. He is Arch Druid and became so after Malfurion couldnt return from the Emerald Dream. He was mad about Malfurion not agreeing with the new World Tree, and he appears to be pissed about how the Night Elves beat the Silthilids (sp?). Given the anger he appears to harbor I wouldnt be suprized if he and a faction of druids split from the Night Elves to extract revenge for his sons death.

Staghelm is indignant. All that he has done has cost him his son, thousands of his people, and his sanity. As it stands right now, he wants nothing to do with Silithus, the Qiraji, or the Dragons -- ever again.

Fandral Staghelm was involved in the first war against the Qiraji.
The adventurers of Azeroth are seeking entry into that hated place.
