Q u o t e: As we've stated time and time again, not only are we not abandoning our focus of designing smaller dungeons, we've been dedicating hours upon hours of development time into creating them for the expansion. Now I realize that our recent focus on creating medium to large raid dungeons has caused players who have no interest in such to become frustrated, which is a fairly normal reaction whenever content is added to the game which someone can't/won't take advantage of. It should at the very least be understood that new raid content is being implimented because currently, that's the area of the game we feel is in need of content - seeing as it's the area which was lacking upon release.
It's important to respect the fact that others enjoy playing the game and focus on content which varies from your play-style, and realize that most everyone on some level will share interests which differ from your own regardless of how similar you feel you are with another individual, or which category you've decided to place yourself in when describing your play patterns.
This fundamental is one we must take into consideration when creating new content for hundreds of thousands of personalities to enjoy.

Q u o t e: The matter isn't that we have no intention of ever designing challenging and rather difficult five man content. The matter is we aren't designing and implementing it right now.
I understand perfectly where you are coming from and in some respects we share some opinions on what we would like to see in the game (I think). But, we are working on a larger plan, which at this phase is implementing raid content to a point we are comfortable with. This has been in the making for some time and it is simply not feasible to veer off course. It's just not a good way to run a business.
We aren't ignoring your concerns and we aren't out of ideas, but there is a course of progression which is being followed.

Specifically:
"not only are we not abandoning our focus of designing smaller dungeons, we've been dedicating hours upon hours of development time into creating them"
-vs-
"he matter isn't that we have no intention of ever designing challenging and rather difficult five man content. The matter is we aren't designing and implementing it right now."
Which is it, Blizzard? are you dedicating hours upon hours to its development, or none at all?[ post edited by Naloch ]

Designing AND implementing, not designing OR implementing.
The difference is there and it is rather large.
My opinions are just that. As are the facts.
