Subject: regarding world events
I have read The Caydiem's Long Post (tm) and so on...From what was said, I was wondering if something like the demon invasion would happen again right at the begining of the expansion on the expansion realms, or right before the expansion release on current servers, with the live control and so on? It seems like that would be a time were the GMs might not be as focused on their normal stuff anyways, so they could do this? After all, the great thing about an MMO is that you can do that to kick off an expansion or something.

Heh, the GMs not focused on their job when an expansion launches? They need to be more on the ball than ever -- new problems, new issues to solve. I'm afraid something like that will probably never happen again, at least not in the same way as the end of beta event.

There are scads of possibilities for doing something similar (or better.. it was rather crude in execution), but that exact method? No. The GMs must focus on giving customer service to the playerbase.

Q u o t e:
I meant more the second possibility, right before the launch. Something tells me the GMs would be a bit distracted days before the launch :)

Yes, with training for the new issues. :P
