I had no idea what realm they played on and I was on the judge panel. No one did. So let's not assume.
I personally loved the time it took to make those costumes, and the detail was exquisite; I spoke up for them, but I wasn't the only judge, and I was overruled, alas.

Plus I was one of the 40 people that actually signed up to be in the contest. I'd like to know of the 10 people that walked away with prizes how many of them were on the original 40 person roster.
GM's can contact me in-game for my mailing address. I hope to be receiving my Alienware computer soon.
Your costume was very good. I thought the work that went into it was staggeringly impressive, and I attempted to express as much to the other judges.
However, it was a committee, and I am only one voice.
The winners are final and we will not be overruling any decisions made. I do wish you luck should you choose to participate in any future contests, however.
