Just in time for the holidays, here come four brand new realms for our burgeoning community!
Aegwynn (PvP)
Akama (PvP)
Chromaggus (PvP)
Draka (PvE)
If you've been seeking a fresh start or are new to the World of Warcraft, there's never been a better time to hop aboard and start a new community at the ground level. Have fun!
EDIT: The F.A.Q. of New Realm Releases:
Q: Why are you adding more realms?
A: We add more realms when we need to increase our capacity. We monitor realm populations very closely, and yes, World of Warcraft's population continues to grow. There needs to be space for said players, and thus we introduce new realms. (Yes, we look at active players rather than overall. Yes, we take into account peak times. We understand well what "realm capacity" means, and the queues you may experience reflect the issue at hand.)
Q: But [insert realm] is at low population!
A: There are no realms that are at low population at their peak -- and yes, again, we do take into account active players rather than overall, etc. Our server team carefully monitors all realm population.
Q: Why don't you tend to the realms you already have?
A: We are. Just because we release new realms does not mean we're not doing our part to increase server performance. The faction imbalance present on some realms is also an issue, but again, all of this is separate from the capacity situation, which is the primary reason why new realms are released.
Q: I'd really like to see another [insert ruleset not listed] realm.
A: We introduce new realms based on capacity needs; we're monitoring realms of all rulesets, and when there needs to be new realms of that ruleset due to capacity, we'll release them.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Kirin Tor was introduced on October 19th; it's a RP-PvE realm. :)
