Theories developed in my boredom:
Better community: The players are nicer to the GM's and devs, therefore Devs reciprocate.
Work Ethic: The Korean web masters deliver web content on scedule.
Advertising: To counteract the negative press due to WoW related deaths in Asia, content info is released to calm the nerves of jittery cybercafe users who havent eaten in the past 20 hours.
Money: Asia just might be the larger community. larger community means more revenue and therefore priority attention.

Great points from several posters.
There is a time difference. The Korean community *sometimes* (but pretty rarely) gets information before the US/EU communities.
At the same time, we don't want everything with World of Warcraft to be US-centric. We want our players in Korea, Europe, and everywhere else to be as much a part of the global community as our US players. This is actually my primary responsibility, and why you may not see me on the forums for long periods of time.
We're trying several things, such as having one global time for every team to post the exact same information at once.
That, we do try to do for the really major events.
But especially for the English speaking regions, we are doing our best to post simultaneously so neither community feels left out.

Players, don't be mistaken. The information posted on the Korean website that everyone is wondering about will be posted in the US and Europe very shortly.
That's not the type of thing we want to keep exclusive to one region for more than a couple hours tops.
