I need to move this character to another server.
I was told that there would be server transfers "in the near future."
Two questions:
How "near" is the near future? I realize Blizz can't give a specific date, I just want to know if it's gonna be next week, next month, or next year.
Are the transfers going to be FROM any server TO any server, as I was originally informed? I've heard recent mutterings that only certain servers will be available at any given time.
I realize that it's not easy. Letting people transfer highlevel characters between servers with different populations and economies can be disastrous.
I have no problem with Blizz stripping my character of all of his items and money, and charging me 100 dollars. I just want to get him OFF this server, and ON to the server all of my friends are on, preferably before they completely overtake my level.
Please, any rough clarifications or timescales would be appreciated.

Ah, the daily answering of this question! As soon as we get more information about open realm transfers, we will be sure to let you know. Until then though, we have no new information besides what is listed in the Battle Plan above.
