Subject: 1.9 Patch = Blizzard is starting to listen
Blizzard, you guys rock! You guys are finally implementing 2 of the most requested features over the past few months.

1. Multiple battleground queues: This will help out tremendously PVP play, however there is still work that needs to be done. I would like to see a list of the horde and alliance players like you can inside a BG match. If players from both sides can see who is queued up, they can determine how many more players they need to get it started.

2. Linked Auction Houses: I think this is a fabulous idea. Not only will this decrease the amount of lag in Ironforge, but it will get more players to (hopefully) visit some of the other major cities more often to trade and post gear up for auctions.

You might want to possibly add different rewards/incentives at each city's AH to get players to spread out and try the different auction houses. An example would be something like, a pally wins an auction in Stormwind and gets some bonus health/mana pots. In Ironforge you might want to give bonus armor kits or something of the sort. The same rules would apply to the horde side as well. These examples are a bit general, so any feedback from other players would be appreciated.

Another thing you might want to add too, is the ability to monitor your bids while you are away from the AH. That way you can be alerted if some other player outbids you, then (if you have the gold) can increase your bid or drop out from your current location.

Oh, and AQ is looking good too. :)

Thanks for finally starting to listen to your customers Blizz!
One More Thing....

We always listen to our customers, but sometimes it can look like the customers we listen to have ideas in contrast to yours. In those cases, it looks like we are ignoring you, or are out to get you. With so many players playing our game at once, it is improbable to please every one with any change we make. We do constantly strive to get there though. (Who said impossible goals weren't fun?)

Other times, the ideas that you have are the same ones that we have, and have been working on for a while before it gets brought up on the boards. If that is the case, it can take some time to get the idea implemented in game. It is not always as easy as adding a line of code. Anything we do to the game has consequences, many of which I can't even begin to fathom, but I trust the guys that do.

With all that said, we are glad to hear you are excited about the upcoming additions to the game!
This is fun, yah?

Progress has been made, and more progress will continue to be made. This is one of those things that sometimes has to go slower than you would like, because adding any weapon, armor, or item to the game has to be balanced across all classes. Keeping the game balances takes a lot of work, and it is a constant struggle.
