I've been toying with the idea of applying for the Oracle Developer position at Blizzard. Yet I am wondering does working for the development team ruin your enjoyment of the game?

I have worked at a variety of game companies over the years, and there have been times when development teams have been hesitant to play the game they created, having already "seen behind the curtain". It is sometimes difficult to find enjoyment in those situations.
As such, I am happy to report that our developers -- all avid gamers in general -- play World of Warcraft regularly to this day, and enjoy it a great deal. :)
It's dark.
