Subject: Make defending in AB worthwhile
There needs to be some sort of scoring system that gives bonuses to those of us that take one for the team and defend nodes. Seriously, what incentive is there right now? Sure my team probably won't win, but I'll get 40 more HKs which more than makes up for sitting around and doing nothing + the win bonus. The irony is that if you're really good at defending, usually you only get attacked a couple times a around unless it's a rolling zerg.

In Arathi Basin, no matter if you win or lose you will get at least 1 Mark of Honor. Defending is an important part of the battle, but the main point is to control as many resources as you can until you acquire 2000.

If you stay on defense and anyone is brave enough to mess with you, you get the killing blows and the satisfaction of helping out your team. For a more physical prize though, I have not heard of anything in the works.

Q u o t e:
His point is that defending = minimal kills. Attacking = lots of kills.

Lots of kills = More Honor points.

Yes, but if you are part of the same group, you all share the kills anyway, so defending is as profitable as attacking.
