Subject: Caydiem: Question
I understand the fact that there are policies written against the transfer of characters to new realms. Especially considering the fact that you quoted this as the reason to not allow transfers.

I also understand the idea that it wouldn't be "fair" to allow transfers from every server to the Oceanic server.

But, it also isn't fair to ask the players who live on the other side of the planet to give up a year of work to get into a community that should have been provided to them from the start.

I'm not trying to be an ass about it or anything.

I did, however, notice that you said that transfers would happen "eventually".

The question I pose to you is this:
How do you define eventually? Can I consider this term to mean in the plausible future? As far as gaming goes that is.

If it isn't planned to happen for 6-12+ months down the line, then I don't see the need to continue to subrscribe to your service.

I am not Australian or anything the like. I am an American Serviceman overseas and happen to live at GMT +9, and am not scheduled to DEROS for at least another 3 years.

I'm basically asking you whether these "transfers" will be in the next few months, or if I should look for another venue to appease my gaming addiction.

The definition of "eventually" is whenever the realm in question can be considered mature. There are a few factors we take into consideration, such as what's being raided, how the economy's playing out, etc. It may not be long, or it may be a while. There's no set time.

Considering these realms should have a fairly dedicated community, however, the option will probably come up sooner rather than later.
