I'd really appreciate some type of feedback on this topic. Maybe even a blue post!

Take note of the cooldown... thirty minutes.
Now, I spent a decent amount of time getting this item. Let's not kid ourselves, even on a low population server this takes a great amount of effort to acquire. Let's assess the effort vs. the reward of this quest. A 1250-750 life shield is quite nice, but the cooldown is a major drawback on the item.
I'm just curious if this is working as intended. Thirty minutes just seems ridiculous to me.
Hemorrhage is my main attack... seriously.

Having a shield to absorb damage is a powerful spell, and only a couple classes can do that as an ability. Because of that, we did not want the trinket to become too powerful. Providing a shield is not the only function of that trinket, there is also a passive ability that grants you an addition 1% chance to dodge an attack which is very nice. Having a thirty minute cool down may seem like a long time, but if it was any quicker any player who had it equipped would become near invincible.

No, that is not what I am saying. I am saying, that if any player could use that shield coupled with all of their other abilities, that would be over powered.

Priests and Mages have damage absorb spells as part of their arsenal, other classes don't. If you give that ability to other classes, they become even more powerful. By putting the trinket on a thirty minute timer, we are making sure that the player who uses it does not become over powered.

+1% Dodge === +1% Chance for a warrior to own your face in even harder.
What about when you fight a class other than a Warrior? Because the 1% hurts you when fighting against one class, it is horrible? I don't agree with that.

If you do not want the extra chance to dodge an attack, do not equip this trinket when PvP'ing. If you want a quick 1,000+ damage absorption spell, equip it and use the ability on it. If you ask me if I feel the cool down is too long, no I don't.
