Q u o t e: So Caydiem...as usual when the patch notes get released weeks before the patch are you once again going to claim that the notes are fake and that the real notes aren't finished?
Then on patch day when the fake notes match word for word the "real" notes your gonna pretend it's all coincidence and make yourself look ridiculously uninformed for the umpteenth time?
Seriously why do any of you believe any of the drivel that the CM's spout. They have been proven to be liars repeatedly because that is what Blizzard pays them to be...liars.
Here's the funny thing.
If patch notes were leaked, we never actually said they were fake.
We told you they'd be released in due time. We asked you to maintain a healthy sense of skepticism regarding information from third parties. Not once did we ever say they were fake.
You'll also notice that the past couple patches have not seen these "leaks" at all -- you've been getting the patch notes when we've released them.
So no, I haven't lied to you about this. Not once. And the situation you describe has been (hopefully) rectified so it will no longer occur.

Q u o t e: Caydiem...if search worked I could EASILY prove you wrong. But search does not work, coupled with the fact that YOU DELETE THE POSTS.
You clearly stated notes were fake when they were indeed not.
Also 1.7 notes were leaked to various "hacker" sites a week before test server
In fact the only thing I might be wrong about in my post is that it was you who made the "those notes are all fake" type statements. It could of been Eyonix or Fangtooth.
But if you can sit there with a straight face and say the CM's NEVER stated leaked notes were fake when they indeed were real then you either have a bad memory, or a bad memory
Ahhh, but of course the possibility of you being wrong is completely unthinkable. ;)
It's amazing what the human mind does sometimes. There were people that asked us point blank if the notes were real; our response was that the players shouldn't believe "leaked" notes that do not come directly from Blizzard. Now, it's very easy to translate that -- particularly over time -- to mean "these are fake". The proof that this sort of translation occurs is all over these forums -- claims of promises we didn't make or other phrases we didn't say.
I know very well what my team has said. We deleted the posts, yes. We asked you not to trust "leaked" notes. Never once did we say they were fake. :)
