I'm one of the morons that ruined my goblin reputation for a pirate hat and a useless level 1 pet. It wasn't really a big deal, I never did any business in the goblin cities anyways but I'm finding it more and more annoying these days.
I've looked into trying to grind my rep back up but I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible in the game's current state. A rough estimate is that I would need to kill about 90,000 monsters to be back up to unfriendly with each of the 4 goblin factions. 29,000 pirates for BB rep. 19,000 wastewanderers for Gadget rep. 19,000 swashbuckler guys for Ratchet rep. And another 19,000 of what ever for Everlook rep.
I don't think I have killed 90,000 monsters total in the entirety of my character's lifespan. I believe it is safe to say that I will never walk in a goblin city again unless something is corrected in the game to make grinding the reputation back up reasonable.
Please Blizzard, something needs to be done about this. :(

Roric, you took it upon yourself to kill the Goblins in order to raise your faction with the dastardly pirates, and you wear their hat and fly their bird with pride, yet you want us to fix it? I am sorry, but you must prove your worth to the Goblins, not us. If killing 90,000 pirates is what the Goblins want, then that is what you must do.
