So, who's getting the revamp after Paladin does?

Shamans?
Mages?
Rogues?
Priests?

My money is on Priest or Mage....

Q u o t e:
What about some rogue love? Come on we have a tree that's almost completely useless (subtelty) and a 31 point talent that sucks balls (Vigor).

I'm a Sub/Asn Rogue and I do not consider Subtlety useless. :P

That said, Rogues are behind several other classes on the list, as they are in better shape than, say, Priests. :)

Sorry cay hate to bash you but unless your 60 and you've run end game instances and done bg's for a month you have no idea the shape your rogues in. lvl 59 /= 60.

I'm level 60.

I've run end game instances, and I've been living in Zul'Gurub raids these days.

I've been in BGs recently.

What were you saying? :)

Q u o t e:
Better shape how? Better shape where?

Better at 1 vs 1 ganking? Yeah, ok, no doubt.

Better in group vs group pvp? Better in Battlegrounds? Better in instances? PVE in general? Not even close!

DO YOU EVEN PLAY THIS GAME?!!??

I have two level 60s and a 57 (gotta get her to 60 one of these days) as well as countless mid-level alts; one 60 is Horde, one Alliance. I have played my Rogue in countless instance runs and several raids now, as well as Battlegrounds.

What exacerbates the Rogue situation is that there are so many of them. I have a defined role in groups, and sure, there are frustrations -- but no moreso than what I dealt with as a Druid. Indeed, the situation is notably less stressful. Part of the perception that Rogues have "no role" in a group is due to the fact that they, in fact, have a very specific role -- there are a limited number of slots for that given role, as you want to make sure to have tanks and healers, so many Rogues find themselves "unwanted". This is simply because a group already has two Rogues and really can't spare another. :P I've seen it personally time and again.

What does that mean for the player? It means you have to present yourself a little better if you wish to get a group. I don't have the best equipment and I don't have a UBRS key, for example, so getting a spot in groups is dependent upon my presentation. I explain that I have Improved Sap and am a reliable CC'er provided the puller understands how to utilize it. I spend the money on Poisons and have the debilitating ones -- not just Instant -- at hand at any given time (Except Wound, generally.). I am a 300 Engineer and always have a Repair Bot in my inventory for those long and painful raids.

Mind you, I'm not saying that the Rogue is perfect. What I am saying is that a comparison between Priests being constantly in demand and always wanted for groups and Rogues often left wanting in IF or OG isn't really due to a class design issue, but rather the number of people playing the particular class. Rogues are, whether you like to think it or not, better off class balance-wise than many other classes, which is why they're up first.

In short, yes, I do play this game, and I can see your account information... so while I understand your frustration, I wouldn't necessarily claim that I don't know the game. ;)
