You need to give people a reason to go back to that place besides getting their mounts at 40 and 60. Linking the AH there won't help (if that is even being considered). Is there a way you can put a high level instance or something out there? On my server, that place is raided left and right because Horde knows that everyone is too lazy to from IF or whatever to stop them.

We are aware that Darnassus is not a big bustling city like Ironforge or Stormwind, and we will be making changes as time goes on to add more excitement out there.
On a personal note, if you have never quested in the Night Elf zones, I would highly recommend you do so one day, and the forest is beautiful!
