Subject: World of Warcraft? LMAO
Right. There are many great wars between the alliance and horde. The Horde demolishes Astranaar, while the Alliance retaliates at Crossroads. The Orcs fear for their lives, as they see the 40 man raid group in the distance. The Alliance mount up, and start riding towards the town.
"Wait!"
"wtfbbq? Lets pwn em!"
"yo I didn't do my trick or treatin yet' *starts hearthing*
"OMG ME NEITHER lolz"
"u noobs"
All of a sudden, the alliance raid start turning around in confusion. Some hearthed, even though the battle was obviously in their favor. What happened? Thought the level 3 Orc. Whatever. He goes to the inn to get some sleep. But what is this? Trick or Treat!

Seriously, Blizzard. What are we, 10 year olds? TRICK OR TREATING? What is this game coming to? I thought being locked up n a gate for Battlegrounds was unrealistic and pathetic enough. Get rid of this juvenile bullcrap, thanks.

No.

You may not find this particular event enjoyable, and you are most certainly allowed to feel that way and voice that view. At the heart of it, however, this is a game focused on entertaining its playerbase.

There's serious lore and gameplay there for those that want it. If you're interested in the serious backstory of the game, it's all there. There's little to joke about in the vast majority of our dungeon and PvP experiences.

At the same time... there's a zeppelin operator named Hin Denburg. Rend Blackhand is said to yell "WOOT!" on occasion. The World of Warcraft is chocked full of irreverent fun, and has been this way since launch. Events like Hallow's End break up the routine a bit and let players do something outside the norm.

I was in a group of skeletons last night -- Noggenfogger'd and Treated. I found that pretty darn entertaining, considering we were in Stratholme. And at the end of the day, that's precisely what games are for: to divert and entertain.

In short, no, we will not remove this "juvenile bullcrap". Thank you for voicing your opinion. If your timer's up, you should go trick or treat. :D
