| |
Today I did one of the Halloween quests and noticed that I received 100 reputation for Alliance. I looked at the numbers and discovered that the reputation was only applied to Darnassus, the first faction on the list. I had this exact thing happen before with the Seasonal quest in the last patch. I could swear that in the 1.8 patch notes there was something about them making it so faction rewards for Alliance/Horde would cascade down to their respective categories. I assumed that meant that you would get reputation in all the categories, not that it'd just give you rep for the one at the top of the list.
I reported this as a problem and was told it was working as intended (which was not consistent with the reply I got the last time I reported it).
Can someone official please clarify how this is supposed to work?

The increase you get may not be noticeable, but you do get a percentage based increase to your reputation across all races in your faction. The reputation will not be uniform across all races unless it specifically mentions being for Horde or Alliance.
It is all about the Brambleberry
