That's two and a half questions, but all right.
Eitrigg is an Orc that served in the First and Second Wars with distinction. After Gul'dan's betrayal, he fled into the wilderness. He was discovered many years later in a ruined watchtower by a paladin named Tirion Fordring. While they fought as enemies, Eitrigg saved Tirion's life by pulling him clear as the watchtower collapsed.
This did not prevent his capture, unfortunately, and was led to the Human holding of Stratholme. Tirion repaid the life debt by intervening before his death and setting him free.
He found his way to his people of old, and learned that the Orcs returned to their shamanistic ways. He currently stands in Thrall's chamber, serving as an advisor.

Delthorin. He used the axe to kill his love, Allurana, and her lover (she had been cheating on him, you see), then cast it into the sea. It was then retrieved from the waters by the Sea King of the Echo Isles (who was later slain by Rexxar).

Meric was a knight of Lordaeron, thus firmly in the camp of the Alliance. He served under Lord Duncan Senturus of the Silver Hand, and was the one who escorted Rhonin to his sleeping chambers.
He also had a moustache.

...you're posting as a Night Elf and you hate Hippogryphs? Tch. Incorrect, sir -- the Hippogryph would speak Darnassian right back to you, as they are beasts as sentient as any of the living races and can speak the Night Elves' language quite fluently.
I do believe this settles the duel, hm? EDIT: Now that the joint-liaison question has also not been answered to my satisfaction, that clinches the deal. I'm done, the clear victor. ;)
Regardless...
Garona was a Half-Orc -- some say she was Half-Human, others Half-Draenei (the lore has argued somewhat on this point). In Warcraft 1 lore, however, which I suppose you're referring to, she was the product of an orc soldier ravaging a captured human female.
Garona was a talented spy for the Shadow Council; she was inducted into the Stormreaver Clan, and was eventually made Gul'dan's personal assassin, as well as Chief Interpreter of the Council. She was outcast due to her heritage; they weren't fond of half-bloods. Food, I'll get back to you on. :P
Filson was a rat in the Stratholme zoo, a fond almost-pet of the zookeepers, who perished from an explosion blast during Arthas's purging of the city. On his wee little rat-corpse was an Amulet of Evasion, his secret to evading the traps all his life.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Incidentally, the joint-liaisons of Archimonde were Mephistroth and Anetheron. Anetheron joined Archimonde on Azeroth once the portal was open, but Mephistroth stayed behind -- and by extension, he stayed alive. ;) Anetheron perished after Tichondrius in the war. Again, Halbue, my Garona lore was based on the Warcraft 1 statements, as I mentioned. The lore has argued in the past about her lineage.
It's rather funny, actually -- that bit you just copied and pasted is directly from an older source, but "Azeroth" and "Human" were replaced by "Draenor" and "Draenei" -- which doesn't make much sense, since Orcs didn't "occupy" Draenor as they did Azeroth. Draenor was their homeland! :P
