I really don't feel like typeing a huge well thought out post so I'm gonna sum it up really quick..
Why does it seem like everything in WoW seems to have somthing to counter it? For example, Warlocks dots are cureable, honestly, I wanted to roll a warlock for fun because I thought it would be cool to DoT, sick pet, and kite into oblvion, but that will never happen with a nearby priest (or druid, i forget which one cures curses/disease)
Another example, lots of classes get imobilizeing effects, warriors = hamstring, rogues = crippling poison, shamans = earthbind, frostshock,
For some reason to me, it seems like its a bit too linient twords melee, I mean, if I charge a mage/priest/warlock, and i get a hamstring off, EVEN if the mage blinks, or the priest/warlock fears, trinket, or in my case, intercept.
Now I understand casters are givin snares and roots to gain distance but what good is CoC if your hamstringed as well, or when Frostnova breaks, bam intercept, hamstring, = death..
I know this post may seem pointless but try to bare with me and see my point.

Everything, in all matters of the game, has a counter. If something did not have a counter, there would be no challenge in the game. I can understand your frustration, but part of the fun in this game is realizing what works best in each situation, and part of that is realizing what counters what.
