I am currently in college. I actually do put my studies before gaming. (Hard to do but I manage) But the timing of this and for many of your players in college, this time is just not feasable. I don't mind the travel. I think that would make it even more fun. But the timing is right before mid terms for many of us or just after when the semester is in full swing.
So, have you ever thought of making a summer event?
I know that to plan something of this magnatude must be very hard. But I figure after you do this, the next one would go smoother. Logistics and such should be better done with the experience of this one.
I am not asking for "The offspring" to show up or anything, but there are no gamers within my community of friends. I would actually like to meet more people who have enjoyed your games.
Using the forums or some internetsite to meet fellow gamers is pish posh at best. This event seems like the ultimate.
Everytime I log into the News of Blizz, and I see more events loading up for this confrence...I feel really left out in all honesty. I am sure I am not alone.
This sounds like a blast!!
So any possiblity you would make a summer event similar? Perhaps in the mid west?[ post edited by Artika ]

Since this is our first event, we wanted to keep it close to home. Starting off is easier in home territory. Depending on how well this one does, there is always the possibility we will bring it to other locations in the future, but we are focused on this show first. One thing at a time!
