maybe a newb question, but...who is Blue?
I don't normally post and as of late, I find myself looking through posts to keep myself awake at work.

Blue indicates and official response by one of the CM's (community managers, GM's for the forums). When someone asks for Blues, it means they want a blue response, a CM response, which is always in a blue color to be easier to find.
Not to contradict you, but GMs are in game support, not the forums. GMs will post on realm status, but that's about it.
And for the OP: an example of why it's called blue. (And, yes we do have a lot on our plate) :D
