Subject: Request for Longer Server Shutdown Warning
Please take it seriously when myself and others say that 15 minutes is not enough warning for server shutdown.

It would be great if the Servers would give in addition the the 15 minute warning, a 30 minute, 1 hour and 2 hour warning was displayed for Server Shutdown.

I do release that a 1 and 2 hour warning for a server having technical problems may be a bit long if it needs to be restarted faster.

I'm sure most people want a longer warning, i don't have to stress it enough, people doing instances at the time and a 15 minute warning comes up.

This was especially annoying this server maintenance because servers unexpectedly came down 2 hours early, (not everyone spams F5 to read every forum post 24 hours a day).

If anyone has read a post like this please post the link to it so others can read it too.

Subject: Re: Request for Longer Server Shutdown Warnin
When realms are restarted, it is usually for the purpose of addressing performance issues. More often than not, these restarts are not scheduled and are done to place the realm back in a normal state. Requesting longer windows for a restart is assuming that these things are marked on a calendar, which they are not. This is different from scheduled maintenance which we plan and announce.
