In the Shadowmeld tooltip description, it states that Night Elf Rogues and Druids with Shadowmeld are more difficult to detect than other stealthed races, but there's a bit of confusion I'd like cleared up, if anybody actuallly knows.
It's been "widely" stated that Shadowmeld enhances stealth, but is that a passive enhance, or active? I know it can't be active because if you Shadowmeld, then stealth, Shadowmeld gets canceled out. If you stealth, and try to activate Shadowmeld, you get the error "A more powerful spell is already active".
So how is Shadowmeld enhancing stealth? It's really confusing the way it's worded vs. how the two interact (or more aptly put DON'T) with each other.
It would be nice if you could activate them both at the same time for the enhancement (obviously having to remain stationary due to the mechanics of Shadowmeld). But the way they are now, it's just not exactly clear how Shadowmeld benefits Stealth/Prowling.
Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you! :)
