There was a small patch a while back that increased the damage bonus from Bloodthirst to 40%. This is reflected on the talents page on this website. However, on characters in game the percentage is still shown as 30%. Both the talent trees show this as well as the tooltip when mousing over the skill. I posted on the bug report forums with no response and I have reported it twice in game.
The first time a GM responded and said he would send it on to be researched.
The second time I got this email back from Blizzard Support:
Greetings,
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.
Issue Reported:"Bloodthirst shows 30% damage bonus rather than 40%. This is the case with any fury warriors I speak to. Is this intended or a mistake?"
We are aware of the situation you reported, and we are currently working on a solution. The issue is with the percentage displayed in the talent tree, the correct percentage is actually 30%. Please check the World of Warcraft website (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com) for future updates and corrections. We appreciate your patience.

Now whats the story here? Is the damage bonus supposed to be 40% as stated in the patch and on the website? Or is it 30% as stated by your support and in game? Why is it so hard to get an answer about these things?[ post edited by Succumb ]

It's supposed to be 40%; I believe the issue is one of display. I apologize that you were misinformed. :/
