When a friend of mine tried to create an account with a guess pass, he was told that he needed a credit card to create the guess pass account. I was not over at his house at the time, so I could not see what he was reading. Could I get some blue to clear this up?

If my memory serves me correctly, when creating an account using a trial authentication key, you still need to enter all of the information normally required to create a standard World of Warcraft account, which includes a credit card number.
This is generally for security purposes. The card will not be billed when creating a trial account.[ post edited by Eyonix ]
