Well? it's been in the works for lord-knows-how-long now, and it's been mentioned nowhere for awhile now...
C'mon. It'll vastly improve the game.

No, that is not what I mean at all.
I'll restate the reasons why this isn't in the game currently.
Linked Auction Houses in all cities require technical hurdles to be crossed -- the AH system is not the same as the mail system, and the way realms are set up provide difficulties in easy implementation of such a feature.
Too, we want to be certain that implementing such a feature would be an effective means of alleviating the issues people see in Ironforge and Orgrimmar; if everyone is still going to their old haunt to find a group, that will not solve the problem. As such, we're reviewing that aspect as well.
The former has no quick fix, and the latter takes investigation. In the future, Gringosuave, I highly suggest you do not put words in my mouth; consider this an official warning for trolling.

It's a short flight away from BRS and MC, and just a zeppelin ride away from the UC and Orgrimmar. It will soon be the travel node closest to Zul'Gurub.
With a bank and AH right there, it'd be perfect!
It's also on a completely different server. The realms are clusters of servers, not one computer. As I said, linked Auction Houses require technical hurdles to be overcome; it doesn't matter if it's in Grom'Gol or Undercity and Thunder Bluff.
