Does this group in the game have any afficilation or relation to the Horde clan of the same name from WC2?
Any lore masters out there know?

Going by what I know...
The Twilight's Hammer seen in Azeroth now carries the name from the remnants of Cho'Gall's clan after Orgrim Doomhammer's men tore them apart for following the treacherous Gul'Dan. The clan was always obsessed with signs of an apocalypse, and indeed often sought to bring such doom about by their actions.
The organization that carries that name now seems to have a strange fixation on the Old Gods, worshipping Ragnaros and seeking power from such eldritch places as Maraudon (which has very strong ties to the element of Earth, and thus may hold powers long held at rest)... They also show strong resistance in Blackfathom Deeps, a very watery place, and Silithus, where savage winds blow.
...what could they be up to, I wonder? ;)
