Subject: The Happy Post, Blue Requested
It has some problems, ok I concede, major problems. But if you are reading THIS post then you have an active account, so regardless of its problems you are still playing. Why? Please lets make the first positve post about the WoW game that I have ever seen! Blue it would be nice if you could reply, both to let us know what keeps you into WoW and to make this post more visible. I'll go first:

Soloability. I came from EQ. Solo in EQ? Impossible at level 70. If you got max level, you were 100% done and had nothing to do, except raid and group. That was all. There was literally NOTHING you could do on your own, ever.

Tch. I greatly enjoy World of Warcraft. We don't have a set number of hours we must play or anything remotely like that, yet I have well over 80 days logged on my accounts and still play almost daily.

I can't mention names, but I've been playing ORPGs since '97 or so (Soy is more than just a sauce, ifyaknowwhatImean) and have been an active participant in dozens of titles throughout the years, big names and small. As such, I have a pretty decent, diverse foundation on which to base my experiences in World of Warcraft.

The qualities I enjoy? I like the user friendliness, the ability to understand the game without a novel beside you detailing everything the game itself won't tell you. I enjoy the distinct classes and the fact that, while every class has its strengths, you don't absolutely NEED a Priest or a Warrior in the vast majority of encounters.

As an artist, I appreciate the distinct art style continued from past Warcraft games and brought to life in this one. As a writer and loremonger, I readily sink my teeth into the wealth of lore available through exploration and quests, as well as the scripted boss encounters that make you feel as if you're a part of something bigger.

I enjoy that there's (on the whole) no need to spend an entire night online if you don't want to; you can normally accomplish something in an hour or two. I like the wealth of different experiences available to a character of practically any level.

As a gamer, I enjoy the time I spend in World of Warcraft, and that's a simple truth. :)
