I am not advertising or advocating this thread or anything, so please don't get out your ban stick just yet. :)
A recent thread had me thinking about what I can and cannot say in general chat. In this particular thread, a user was disciplined for saying a word that is slang for a harlot or prostitute. I find the use of this particular word non-offensive.
Now I agree that we do not know the context in which it was used and that may have played a part in the disciplinary action. The problem here is I have never seen a list of words that are considered offensive by Blizzard/GMs.
I for one would be interested in obtaining such a list for use both in game and on the forums. The reason I am requesting this is because quite frankly, most things that offend other people probably doesn't offend me, thus I would think it was acceptable even if it was not.
In the interest of preserving my own account, I would like to know what words are considered "evil" in the eyes of Blizzard. Sure, I know the basics (the "7 deadly words in broadcasting", for example), but obviously, there are some words I might use in general chat that are inappropriate.

We will not compile a list for public consumption, as there are a wealth of word combinations that can be considered extremely offensive that may, for example, not be in the profanity filter due to their mundane use elsewhere.
Sadly, such a list would simply present a large loophole for those who abuse the system.
