I have written down a few things I think that would be a nice idea to possibly implement. Please don't flame this, as I am only expressing my opinion. Feel free to add your own suggestions, and maybe we'll see them--someday--added to the game!
General -
* Mounts - Make mounts more customizable. Adding dra.pes, armor, and color to liven up your mount would be a great change. Or even adding items that would increase your mount's speed for a set amount of time (such as an Engineering product, Rocket Speed Injector - Increases mount speed by 40% for 20 seconds. May only be used one every 60 seconds.)
* Mounts - Mithril spurs should be attached to your actual mount, not your bots.
* Mounts - A new mount should be added, maybe costing as much as 2,000G for a 200% increase. You can never have enough speed.
* Mounts - Mount racial abilities? A gnome mount could possibly have something similar to the Rocket Speed Injector, which increases mount speed. Undead could get an "undead grace" form which turns you into fog and increases mount speed. Get creative, Blizzard!
* Houses - Implementing a house where players could rest their characters, decorate their homes, and maybe even have a merchant that sells your crafted goods. Guild houses would be similar.
Trade Skills -
* Wood gathering/Stone gathering - This would be a secondary profession that would allow you to collect different woods/rocks to build your house with the most sturdy and finest woods so that your house will last longer.
* Alchemy - Having a quest, or item, that would allow players to collect a sample from the enemy they have killed, so that they can make a potion that would duplicate their form (but not size). Such as "Duplication Elixir (Ragnaros)," which would turn you into a miniature Ragnaros to walk around in for 10 or so minutes. You would not be able to use the abilities of the slain enemy.
* Tailor - Tailors should be allowed to color their own creations with dyes that they have provided. This would add a new, creative spin on a tailor's creations, and would also increase the popularity of aesthetics (which is where Blizzard is going--just look at Dressing Rooms).
* Tailor - Make Robes of the Void, Truefaith Vestments, and Robes of the Archmage Bind on Equip.
* Enchanting - Enchanters should be able to enchant off-hand weapons. They are in the same slot as shields, yet you cannot enchant them. Instead of Stamina, maybe you should add "Intellect +7" or "Spell Damage +9." Same with Wands. Maybe even have belts able to be enchanted to give 1 or 2 stamina.
* Enchanting - Enchants to shield/off-hands should glow.
* Blacksmithing - Wands should be craftable.
* Fishing - While fishing, you should be able to fish up items of that area (maybe a Major Mana Potion if you were fishing in the Plaguelands), or even money. To prevent fishing bots, you could implement a monster that would randomly attack (level is according to zone).
Items -
* Account bound - Soul bound items should be able to be traded to different characters in your account.
* Mana Gems (mage) - These should not disappear after 15 minutes as they are soulbound and untradable.
* Account - Items should be tradable to different characters in your account (and same server) without the delay of mailing.
* Mail - There should be a speedier option (that costs more) that will get your item there quicker.
PvP -
* Dishonor system - Dishonor should only come from killing players that are more than15 levels lower than you. Or either just make civilians immune to damage.
* Staff - The Battle Staff could use a serious boost. Give it more effects--damage and crit strike. Implement a Wand too.
Well, those are my suggestions that I think would be a positive change for the World of Warcraft.
Blizzard doesn't care. Get over it.

We do read the Suggestions forum. We're not able to respond to the suggestions that players post there individually, but please don't take that to mean we don't read through all the great...and sometimes not-so-great...suggestions in that forum.
