Subject: Manticores are wyverns?!?!
I am sure this has been pointed out before, but I am pretty bored and this forum is pretty much trashed anyways with other inane threads.

So somebody explain to me why the Horde flightpath creatures which are clearly manticores are labeled as wyverns in the game?
Welcome to me.

Q u o t e:
Manticores are winged leonid creatures with a scorpian tail. Or a spiked tail, but they are always lion bodied with wings. Wyverns should look like they did in wc3.

Wyverns do look like they did in Warcraft III.

This...

Is the War3 wyvern. See also this concept, dated 1999:

...which many take (for some reason) to be the wyvern's head, is in fact an eagle-masked Orc.
