As a result, we have reduced the amount of defense points on all items with bonuses to defense by approximately 33% in order to bring those items in line with other similar items.



This is the new wonderful change that will be affecting ALL items come 1.7. Now we all know that PvE tanks are geared totally for defense and that its required for MC to really do a bang up job. This is an unacceptable change and should be taken out or modified.

This is our petition to see this totally removed or changed to a less drastic number then a third of all defense. For the MC warriors out there:

There is no discussion to be had here. Warriors have been asking for a detail explanation of why you are doing this. A detailed explanation is not:

"It's THE most important stat but a drastic change in it will not affect anything."

A detailed explanation might be something like:

"We found that when people were able to push their defense stat up over 500 it caused them to be overpowered against...."

In which case a discussion could be had about possible ways to modify things that pehaps were less drastic *coughlazycough* than "update Items set Def = Def *.66 where Def >0"

If you want these threads to be about a discussion, then DISCUSS. Don't feed us doubltalk and expect us to wander around grazing like sheep.
