Subject: Quest pointer on minimap? |

I was playing a little while ago and looking at one of my quests and I later noticed a yellow pointer on my minimap showing me the direction I had to go in for that quest to kill the person. The quest was in Loch Modan "In defense of the king's lands".
I haven't been able to get this arrow/pointer back. Does anyone know what it is?

Some quest givers are able to mark your map for you, giving you the direction that you should be going. Other quest givers do not know the exact where abouts, so they try to give you as much detail in your quest log about where to go.
