When the next content patch releases (version 1.7), Vampiric Embrace will heal 20% of the damage actually caused (including critical hits, buffs etc...) but only heals when shadow spells cause the damage. This should increase the overall health gained when using this ability in addition to helping Shadow Priests melt faces in PvP.

Yes, the holy tree is crappy. But how about you just show a little gratitude for once and be happy for what you get.

I wouldn't get too upset, Fallow. It's typical for some to react poorly when a change doesn't specifically benefit or improve their own situation. The fact is, improvements for all three Priests talent trees are on the horizon, unfortunately, probably not as soon as most would prefer.

We've stated on numerous occasions that all classes which haven't already will be receiving a full talent review, including Priests. I apologize that the information wasn't more widely presented. In any case, lets not digress the subject at hand....
