Seeing as we're not going to get an Australian server in the immediate future. I'm wondering if there is a possibility for those that play in Australia to gain access to the Singapore servers. It MIGHT help with the ping times but then again it might not.

Creating new servers won't help. I'm an average 17 year old Singaporean gamer. I log on WoW the day it comes out. I see a new server (Although, since I'm new I don't even know that this is in fact a recently created server) with LOW population. I see Frostwolf or Blackrock or Argent Dawn or some other server with a HIGH population.
Hm... I like to play with lots of other people. I think I'll choose the HIGH population server.
That's the way the human mind works. People who are attracted to MMOs in general want to play with other people. Therefore the words "Medium" and "High" population appeal to them. And bno, Realm Suggestion never has and never will work. People just don't like having someone choosing their server for them.
If you've read the other posts made in the past 24 hours by Blizzard representatives, you'd find that we have solutions gearing up for the overpopulated realms, the realms seeing hardware issues, the lower population realms, etc. We are not ignoring these issues; it will take a little time to get the solutions in place, but we're on the move and should have them available in the near future.
Despite popular belief, we did in fact need the extra capacity provided by the new realms.

Because there are two threads that are over 50 pages long suggesting that you should put in Australian servers that have not had one blue post in them, and not only that, there has not been a blue post on the subject yet.
If thats not ignorance, I dont know what is.
My dear sir, repetition of the fact that we do not plan to open Australian realms at this time is not ignoring the issue, it is simply being tired of repeating that information. We've stated it before.
