Subject: Tyren: Please Comment on BUYING Gold
I noticed that you are active today, posting to other threads.

In an earlier thread on this base, I elicited player feedback on the issue of buying gold (real money used to buy gold and/or items from other people). Lots of people have opinions on the legality, civil consequences, in-game consequences, and morality of buying gold. One of the responders found this comment from you in the archives:

Is this the current Blizzard policy on buying gold and/or items? Have things changed since January?

I think people need to be educated on this subject. If the Farming problem is going to be dealt with, I believe that it will require the active involvement of players.

Please respond.

The policy, to our knowledge, has not changed since that was posted. Had it done so, we would have posted an updated version and/or removed it from the Blizzard Archive. The reason why it's in the Blizzard Archive is that it's still relevant and applicable to the situation today.
