Subject: **BLUE** Question about some queues.
I'm on the Ice crown server and ever since the last patch we have had a queue every night.

My understanding it that this was done to selected servers with lower populations to keep lag to a minimum on all servers....or something like that. Is this correct?

Also how long are we going to have to deal with this problem? And how fair is it that only selected servers should have to deal with this?

A 25 minute wait to get in the game is becoming very annoying very fast.

So please fill me in.

Thanks.

First, I ask that you do not bump your post continuously, as that is spamming.

Onto the subject at hand. The queues are indeed in place to manage latency issues that crop up during peak times. We're aware that it is not precisely the most fun thing to wait in a queue, however, the queues are a preferable option to crashes and latency issues for everyone online. You may not consider this "fair", and I apologize if that is the case, but we are not twirling black mustaches and cackling over the malevolent wait time we've imposed upon certain realms because we do not like them. ;) The fact of the matter is that the queues are there for technical reasons that aid playability for all.

We are indeed working on solutions for the issues in a variety of ways, but no such solution is instantaneous. We are working to get them out to you as soon as we possibly can, however.
