Subject: Has blizz ever thought about Cross-server BGs
I was wondering if the developers ever thought about making Battlegrounds cross server? So instead of just fighting people from your own server, you could fight people/guilds from different servers? This would increase the population with BG's and allow people to fight others that they could never do before (besides going to that server and rolling a char... but thats besides the point).

The only downside I see with this is all the PvE servers with their AvH ratio would throw things off. But you could just allow alliance on those servers to reroll horde and save XP and some gold. I know I would do that if you'd let me.

Also it would be nice if there was some sort of ladder system with a win/loss stats for players/guilds. The honor system is all fine and dandy, but I would like to see people/guilds win/loss stats in the BG's. Not how much time they have to farm players.

So is any of this possible, and if so has blizz given it any thought?

Yes, we have definitely thought about Cross Server Battlegrounds. It's a cool idea for several reasons and also solves some problems.

Unfortunately, at this time, our server architecture does not support the concept. That doesn't mean that there isn't the chance that someday we could restructure things to accommodate the idea. It's a cool idea and we'll keep discussing it.
