Subject: Stricter forum moderation?
   Dear CMs;

I am a 'middle of the road' cross between a casual and a serious player, and so I like to visit these forums fairly often to keep up to date with WoW events and the like; and as any person who visits these forums on a daily basis knows, the forums are filled with trash and troll posts. Immature topics clog the list and constructive topics are consistently run aground with trashy replies.

I'm not here to sound elitist, but I know that there are many other people that would also like to see the trolling cut down substantially.

My suggestion is to implement an autoban feature for your forums. I have seen these implemented on other forums to great effect. Programs that check the body of the message for too many uses of "u r teh stupidz" or "kthxbye" and similar words, then temporarily ban the user for a few days, or indefinately if it's a major infraction like racism.

Obviously your CM staff can't be accountable 24/7 for monitoring/warning every troll response on the forums and I think this would help significantly.

If you think this idea has any value please pass it on to the guys in charge of this monster. And if anyone has any comments about my idea I'd like to hear them.

   We are working on ways to make the forums a more productive place, and lessen the amount of non-constructive posts. In the mean time be sure to utilize the Biohazard button next to each post. When you click on it, you report the post and we have people dedicated to going through each reported post and taking the appropriate action.
The Murloc is in aggro range...
