Blizzard seriously what is your problem? I do not intend to flame you at all, but I am very curious.
Remember this? Q u o t e: We intend to do smaller patches, must more often. Rather than take forever for 1 big patch
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS? WE SIT AROUND DOING NOTHING.. FIGHTING THE SAME PEOPLE IN POINTLESS PVP IN TM. AND ONE DAY A WEEK WE GO TO MC AND ONYXIA LAIR.
Anyone remember when they posted this quote above???? I do, it was when sony kept hammering out the patches and bliz was taking heat for it. So is this how you work? You say one thing when your under the pressure but you dont follow through? And then forget you ever mentioned it?
YOU HAVE OVER 500,000 PAYING CUSTOMERS. HIRE MORE DEVS IF YOU CANT HAVE CONTENT OUT FAST ENOUGH.[ post edited by Maingerjan ]

We have been patching more quickly. Battlegrounds, however, is a major feature and a large development team would not speed along the obvious testing needed before such a thing is introduced to live realms. The reason why we have kept Battlegrounds on the Test Realm for nearly a month is that no amount of QA testing such a feature can match the sheer wear and tear it takes while players try it out. This has proven most useful, and in the patch's duration on Test we've found and resolved quite a few issues and balance quirks with the system.
That said, I suggest you be more civil in your posts in the future. This is a polite warning. :)

Q u o t e: What about things other than battlegrounds? what about those patches? just hold off on BG's and patch other things?
/sigh
We have, actually. Battlegrounds has been held back several times while we patched the game with more urgent things.
At this time, however, we believe that Battlegrounds are just about ready for the limelight, and as such we will not be splitting off the rest of the content of 1.5 from the feature.

Q u o t e: the only reason you have battlegrounds on test was to show it at E3 its quite obvious. And I fail too see how there has been any significant patches in the recent months
This is your final warning to be civil.
Your belief is incorrect. While we were displaying Battlegrounds at E3, it has remained on the Test realm to work out the bugs. And as anyone who has been playing Battlegrounds with any regularity can tell you, there have been quite a few bugs. ;) We've caught them, we've resolved them, and all before they hit live.
Our QA department is full of great, dedicated folks, but they have a limited team and only so many hours in the day to test the millions of variations in level and equipment needed to find all the kinks in such a feature. That's where the Test Realm and you ambitious players come in. The QA department heads up the Test Realm, watches the forum there carefully, and works with the developers to resolve any issues found in the patch as quickly as possible. The result is a more polished patch coming to live realms.
We're grateful for all the help you folks give us when you play on the Test Realm, and especially for all the work you've done with us on Battlegrounds. Because of you, we're able to bring to live realms a far better and more enjoyable feature. :)

Q u o t e: as tigole said
So obviously no, you havnt been putting out content as fast as you'd like, why say otherwise?
Actually, I said that, not Tigole, and that was months ago. :) I said that when it had been months since the last patch.
Since that quote was made, we've sped up our patching process significantly. In a perfect world, everything would work flawlessly and be perfectly balanced the instant it was created, and we'd patch it out to you with confidence that it wouldn't break.
However, we don't live in a perfect world, and things need to be changed and retuned even before QA gets a solid handle on it. More changes come as a result of QA, and then (and only then) does it get put on the Test Realm. All this development takes time, and despite what some may think, throwing more people at it would not make the process much faster.
We're turning out content as fast as we can be while still maintaining the ideal of bringing you a high quality, enjoyable addition to your game. That balance is important.

Cut out the insults, all of you.
I have already said the state of things, Maingerjan. I have no further answer on "what is being done" than what I've already given in this thread.

Q u o t e: You're the one insulting us with the constant lying and lack of customer support and information.
Get another job if you don't like dealing with customers that your company is pissing off maybe.
We're paying customers, stop treating us with such utter disrespect and maybe people will be more "civil"
I was actually referring to those calling each other idiots, but this was also uncalled for.
Just to clear something up...
I would like to remind the posters here that every single one of you agreed to follow the Code of Conduct upon posting here. If you post in a manner that is destructive -- as was the original post -- you will receive a polite warning. That warning doesn't go on record at first, it's just a calm reminder that we should all be civil to each other. Accusations and untrue statements do not build the community; they only help destroy it, and I will not allow such to continue on the forums.
With that out of the way, I suggest everyone be civil towards both Blizzard and each other.

Q u o t e: I still fail to see how the OP did any such thing. He's making an assertion (not an accusation) that patches are not frequent enough. That's a matter of opinion, one which you may obviously disagree with and have done so, but it's still an opinion. I fail to see how expressing this, though obviously frustrated, violated the CoC.
If expressing dissatisfaction with your performance is violating the CoC, then this place will end up like 3000ad.com, which is a complete joke among the gaming community.
The original post was not, however, their second post in the thread fit that bill.

Q u o t e: since im still confused on how caydiem said i was being uncivil, Im posting this again. So for future reference I will not do the same. :
Caydiem, you are all over the map. First you say my original post was destructive
Then someone asks (refering to how my original post was not destructive)
and then you say my original post was not?
Bottom line, i was never trying to flame anyone or
say anything negative, I feel cheated as a paying customer and wanted to know what was being done about it.
And as I stated before, the problem has been identified as recently as 1 day ago by Tigole here

Your original post was somewhat destructive, but not the accusatory post that the player you quoted was looking for. I clarified that. Do not spam your own thread, please.
